I was interested in using my own icon for PFF. I tried using Resource Hacker but found that any change I made using RH corrupts the new file.
Any tips would be appreciated.

If you mean within Firefox while it's runnin so you can distinguish it from your local copy, just place an icon names main-window.ico into your PortableFirefox\firefox\chrome\icons\default directory and replace the existing one. Now, when you use Portable Firefox, you'll see the unofficial Firefox icon. If those directories don't yet exist in your copy, just create them.

I was actually looking to change the PFF launcher icon so I can quickly differentiate one on one USB device and another held on another device.
Thanks for the great site and the better apps. I have been using your portable suite for about a month and wonder how I ever worked without it.

You'll need to recompile the launcher to do that. Or just rename one PFirefox.exe so you have an easy-to-spot difference.
