Thunderbird works on PC but not on Stick?!?

Hi people,

I have a problem, i just prepared my PTB on my HDD on the PC and there the application works fine. But when I copy the flder to my USB-Stick I get a strange screen with some kind of HTML-Tags or something like this.

I hope there is someone who has the same problem.

Maybe it is one of my extensions, but i hope not ^^

Greetings flyx

More info

A bit more info would help. Specifically, what do you see on the screen? And what extensions are you using?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I think this is just the way

Did you install extensions on the hard drive first?
I think this is just the way Mozilla applications work. I had the same problem (PFF), and the probable reason only occured AFTER I went and installed everything all over again on the removable drive itself: When you install extensions, they are registered somewhere (I have to find where still, time is very scant at the second...); I think installing them on the hard drive and then moving the program makes the stored record no longer accurate. If you install the extensions after you've moved the program to the drive, they SHOULD work on any computer, and therefore the problem may go away. So far, after I did that, everything works just fine (though this does increase the writes a lot when you're installing; I restart after every install to test compatability). If you really have your heart set on installing on the hard drive first, though, you could prolly ask on the Mozilla forums where the extension register is and hand modify it. But, IMHO, I think that it may be a little more trouble than it's worth...:)
