It isn't open source, so it would be illegal for us to package it portably.
UPDATE: And it's apparently violating the GPL, so it should definitely be avoided.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
But it’s a free player!!
I do not think the developer would say no to such idea
One more thing I do not think it is hard to make it portable cous u don’t have to
Instill it just unzip it...
I did find the source code in a different KMPlayer website. If I'm being an idiot and it turns out it's not allowed to be packaged, please forgive me.
The source code can be found at http://kmplayer.kde.org/download.php
thekmplayer is a closed-source application made by an independent developer, and it is cross-platform
kmplayer is a KDE application (for linux under the QT toolkit) and it is GPLed
what about smplayer? it is GPL.
http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/
only Mplayer is GPL but we've had the discussion about mplayer or vlc.

As all of ya should know Microsoft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or Free BSD on yer Windows comp.
If you cant post it, mail it.

MCP (For XP and Server 2003)
Network + Certified
aim is "nycjv321" (minus quotes)

I use a version of 2.9.3.1279 that does not require installation and does not add to registry, but its files are not organised in the portableapps format. Works very well on XP, it even plays ?damaged files that other players e.g. K-lite MPC have difficulty with. It would be great if there is a portableapps version of it. I think it's the best all-round player.
Most PC's these days have XP with DX9 installed. KMP can be copied to your thumb drive and just run portably if you want.
