But it won't tell you to auto-update to 2.0; that's probably a compatibility update to get Thunderbird ready.

Maybe the changes are too big to let people auto-update from 1.*-series to 2.*-series.

In 1.5 there is a "View: (Empty Box)" where I can sort the messages by my labels as well as "unread", "last 5 days", etc. Where did it go?
That would be a better question for a TBird developer in their forums.
