Could there be a possibility for the application "john the ripper"? So we can test the strength of passwords on different machines instead of a live CD of linux ..etc?

It's a commandline app so I'd assume it's already portable. If it's not, use the DOS version.

There is no "installing"...just extract it to a directory. It's a commandline app.

Thanks for the clarification chu, how would i get a shortcut on the menu though?
What's the file type? Exe's will show up in the menu automaticially as long as there in a sub folder under the PortableApps folder, if it's a bat, convert it.
