Anyone know why the off-topic posts aren't showing up in the tracker?

I know something Ryan doesn't about the site he, um, moderates?. Here you go. There was an, um, disagreement in on of the topics and, well, John had to reformat the off-topic forum.

Because the off-topic forum posts basically clutter the tracker. If people want to view the off-topic stuff, they can choose to. But those of us that just monitor the tracker won't be distracted by it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Ryan, are you not a mod? I thought you read everything. I also though you had a direct line with John to ask him personally. I also thought Santa Claus really existed. Well, porterkm already pointed out the reason, so at least now you know how, when and why.
