Is there a way to copy the u3 drive(both partions) from one flash drive to another one? Also the autorun would need to be preserved.

U3 is tied to hardware and can't be used on anything except U3 drives.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
U3 has a hardware component and therefore has to be bought as a U3 drive.

So long as the new flash drive supports CDFS partitions, which basically means another U3 drive or something similar. So, if your looking to backup your drive and be able to restore it should something happen to the original drive the answer is yes.

You are asking if a U3 drive can be copied over to a "Normal" (non-u3 drive) and still "function" (autorun and I assume Launchpad).
The answer is no.
If you just want to "backup" the data from the U3 drive to a "normal" drive that is something else.
You also cannot copy over the CDFS partition to the CDFS partition of one U3 drive to another. You would need to use a special installer to overwrite the exiting partition with the one you copied from the original drive or made yourself.
The installer is designed to look for a U3 drive and would not work with a non-U3 drive even if it did have a CDFS partition.
