Hi, I've noticed a pretty bad cursor alignment problem using Gimp and my Wacom tablet. Now I've searched high and low online, and found that a simple command-line parameter will solve my problem, "--no-wintab" but here inlies my problem. How do I add this extra command to PortableGIMP?
I've made a shortcut and added the command-line there, so I know this will work, however I cannot access the shortcut from the PortableApps launcher, which for me is a big thorn in my side since soo much work went in to streamlining this package.
So, what options do I have? Can I hex edit the exe to have the extra command?

I'm a photoshop user since PS3 and just switched to GIMP. I love that I can still do everything I can in photoshop, although it takes a few more hurdles to accomplish. If I can solve this little hangup I'll be one happy camper

Check out the GIMPPortable\Other\GIMPPortableSource directory. There's an INI file in there. Move it to GIMPPortable and add the switch to the AdditionalParameters entry. Full details are in the readme.txt.

I read one of your comments regarding the Command Lines and the INI file in another post here, and similarly you mention that full details can be found in the readme.txt.
I looked for that Readme.txt before making my post, but only found Help.html where one would assume the readme.txt file would be found for PortableGIMP. I've used the supplied installers here, so I'm fairly certain I didn't omit anything when I drag and dropped my files to Flash. I only mention this because I'm sure you've answered this, and similar questions quite a few times and are wondering why no one reads that darned readme.txt

Alright, I've found the elusive Readme.txt you refer to. I had assumed it would be in the Root directory for GIMPPortable, my mistake. I may be a windows user, but I'm eeking my way to Linux/Unix with every passing day. I've adopted GIMP now on PC to help motivate my switch since I'm not looking forward to Photoshop+WineX.
Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction, it's solved my problem perfectly.
Lastly, I should go over the help.html file one more time to see if that Readme.txt file is linked from there, I can't believe I couldn't find it, would have saved myself a few handfuls of hair.

I m a potableGimp and Portable inkscape user. I also have a Wacom tablet. A Wacom Cintiq.
CanI use it in eithe app please and if the instructions remain the same, can someone tell me the path to this read me file please?

I understand Gimp 3.0 will address wacom plug and play and in time, if and when you port it over to a portable version, things will be better
