At the moment, there is no way to add submenus.
And about the apps not showing, what Menu are you using? Are they from here or not???
If they are, they should show, if they aren't, make sure the exe is in a subfolder of the PortableApps folder.
Should work.

I am neither a dev nor the designer.
The Designer is John T. Haller. He did all of the Apps here. I am just a dedicated and active member and been around for enough time to know something about the way things work.

While there is no scroll bar to go thru the list, look for a arrow pointing down below the last item in the list. If you see one there, you can click on it to scroll down. If that worked, look for another arrow at the top of the list to scroll upward. They are in the same color as the rest of the menu, making them hard to see.
You can use the clickable graphical arrows on the menu. Or you can use the up/down arrow keys on the keyboard. Or you can use the mouse's scroll wheel. All of those allow you to scroll up and down in your list of apps.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
if u r the main developer of portableapps.com menu here is an idea as an option have a full Portable GUI see link few posts above for my conversation i have been having i still can't find a sutible GUI that can have your menu integrated to replace the "start menu".
Thanking you in advance

the up/down arrow keys on the keyboard don't scroll up or down my list of apps in PAM 1.0.0.0, WinXp SP2. Any ideas? (they work fine in all other apps)

You should be using at least 1.0.0.1 from the note on the main page. Or a 1.0.0.2 Beta release.

Applied 1.0.1 patch and arrow keys still don't work
My bad. You need a 1.0.2 Beta release

Just tried 1.0.2.4 and they are working fine. Thanks.
Am I right in thinking one can't display the version no. from within PAM?
I've been hovering over PortableAppsMenu.exe in Windows Explorer to check I was running the right one.
