Portable Yes but puts files everywhere!

Does not write to the registry but upon uninstalling firefox 1.5 and cleaning all the junk out of my PC I tried firefox portable 2.0-puts folders everywhere(documents and settings/application data - local settings/application data) there are mozilla folders in both places....

My Question is I thought this portable app kept settings within it's own folder?? Not complaining mind you jut wondering....If you were to move it to another PC it would do the same??

Auto-Cleaned

The folders are empty while it's running and deleted when Firefox Portable closes. There is no way to avoid them being created unless you want to recompile Firefox and call it by a different name.

Version 3?

Firefox 3 is still in the alpha stage (alpha 5 to be exact). There is no portable Firefox 3, although if I remember, somebody around here made one.

Not Recommded

It is not recommended to run multiple versions of Firefox at the same time on the same PC. There is a switch in the INI file that lets you do it. See the included help file which links to details. Note that if you encounter any problems, you're entirely on your own.
