GIMP: Data\Settings\%username%

Is way, how to set path to Settings folder in accordance with login name of user? Like this: Data\Settings\%username%

I am sorry for my possibly bad English.

You want a different profile per user? Well, I presume most PortableApps are run by one person, and using various accounts on random machines...

I want use it for students

I want use it for students at school LAN - one installation on server and each user settings at Data\Settings\%username%. Is it possible?

I think the suggestion was to install a single, networked copy of The Gimp, not the GimpPortable. If you are working with a Windows network, each user normally has their own 'home' directory In my case, that is :

c:\Documents and Settings\Alan B Cohen

What GIMP does the first time it is run is create a personal settings directory (also known as a folder) under this called '.gimp-2.2'.

So, if each of your students signs on to the network with an individual id, standard GIMP will take care of setting individual student's preferences. Hope this helps!
