Hiya
This is off topic but I thought this was the best place to post this.
I'm looking for an open source (preferably portable) application that I can use to record activity on my screen and allow me to record/overlay speech.
I want to do a demo to everyone in my company as to what/where/how/when portable apps should be used. The easiest way would be to post a "recorded" demo on our extranet. The last time I did this; many moons ago, I had access to Lotus Screen Cam. I no longer have access to this and I can't find a suitable replacement.
Any suggestions?
Ross
CamStudio is open source, there hasn't been a new release in several years, but the developer should be releasing the next update soon.

As all of ya should know Microsoft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or Free BSD on yer Windows comp.
You could try my AviScreen Portable. You could use a video editor to mix in sound later.

Thanks for those suggestions.
You have saved me hours of searching and evaluating.
