Hi everyone,
i'd like to use all the portable apps from a networked PC.
I use my PC to connect to internet using a proxy server and it works fine.
but all my portable apps, with prosy set as IE7, won't work.
how can i make it run?

Open up the internet connection settings, or use the proxyget program on the firefox portable page to find the proxy. Enter this in firefox's settings.
Then type about:config in the address bar and right click somewhere and click new > string.
In the box that will appear type general.useragent.overrride and then paste this:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
If that still doesnt work, go here in internet explorer:
http://www.iopus.com/imacros/demo/v6/user-agent.htm
and copy the user agent that it gives you in the orange box and then put that in general.useragent.override.
