OMG!!!... these are the best that I have seen so far.... I think that as soon as I get a bigger flash drive... I am going to use one of those for my PAM installation.

nope, it's already finished. Thats about as much as i can do in u3 because of the horriable way it loads immages. If i put in the cool swish that was in the origional theme the buttons would cover it up. Also i had to make the gradients fade from left to right instead of up and down, because all of the buttons haf to have the same immage.
i use a new PAM, the "PAM MOD" (r12)and for this i made a new Theme the iPhone Theme (look in the Main Post)
i have repacked all my theme for this mod too. u can also use the "old theme" but the repacked versions are without the PortableApps Logo and the Exit Buttons are on the Original place (Mac, up left.....)

I love your themes! They are fantastic. Any chance you could make a Royale Noir theme? I see people make the Royale and Zune themes, but Royale Noir is slightly different than both of those.

Hey, Do you mind if I include the neo theme in a mod I'll be posting in a bit? I'll include credit to you.
I've broken up the theme into parts so that the menu can support growing or shrinking based on a value in the .ini file. I use the neo theme myself (like it quite a bit) and I've already gone through the work of splitting it, and it's _much_ better than anything I'd do on my own.

i now what you mean but the problem is i cant set a "True" alpha transparency.i can use it only in png files, PAM 1.1. beta5 support pngs but WITHOUT alpha transparency.

when you did either crystal style or one ov the vista themes, you got the edges to look very close to the digital glass effect that i was talking about. do you think that you could apply that to the entire menu instead of just the edges?
btw, beta 5 is out?!? ill have a little talk with MR.Haller about the support of .png files.

Hi,
Digital Picture Frame (short "DPF") is customizable Theme for a private styled PAM.
You can set your own favorite picture (your girlfriend/ boyfriend, your dog, your
car or whatever you want) and you can select one of seven default colors (for your
own color please read the *Note ).You need only Phostoshop or Gimp.
Instructions:
1. Open the "Digital Picture Frame.psd" you see nine layers:
- Magic Color !stay visible!
- Black
- Gray
- Blue Original
- Purple
- Red
- Yellow
- Green
- !!!place picture here!!!
2. Select/enable the frame color of choice, and replace "!!!place picture here!!!"
with your favorite picture. Save and replace the picture as "background_top.bmp"
and as "background.jpg" in the folder:
DPF/Theme
3. When you are done, copy the whole folder "DPF" to
X:/PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/Theme/
*NOTE:
- don´t delete, disenable or colorize the layer "Magic Color !stay visible!"
- for your own frame color, select color frame of your choice and edit the
color via:
Photoshop:
Image-> Adjustments-> Hue/Saturation...
Gimp:
Tools-> Color Tools-> Hue/Saturation...

how do you get such good color blending and good grafix? cause i use the gimp but i cant get my prototypes to be that good.

Gimp is good (for a free tool) but Photoshop is better
in Photoshop i can use layer styles and efects. and sometimes i use original files as template (like OpenMoko).

gimp is ok but i tried blending using the graident feture and it seems to prefer the lighter colors over the dark one so when blending the lighter color takes up the majority of it. and man is it hard to create themes for it..
also, how bout a windows longhorn theme, i am working on one but i am not to skilled at it and mine wont be compat with PAM 1.1 public release. i gotta figure out something.

i´ve created a new theme its called "Fluffy PAM" and its a fluffy puffy version of the original PAM theme. available for PAM original and PAM Mod (with fluffy logo and font).

The site looks great except for a few problems:
1) The page selector on the bottom of the page doesn't keep track of the current page, so you can't tell what page you're on
2) The rollover at the top is very slow
3) You're using flash
