Firefox Synching

I am sick and tired of Firefox Portable, as I've had to rebuild the browser at least eight times due to my forgetfullness. However, I need portability during the school year, so I'd like to sync my profile with a syncing app similar to Microsoft SyncToy (Allway Sync, fyi), as I use that every day and am comfortable with it.

Let me just get this straight, so I don't do any damage to the local install or the portable install. I'm guessing these are the steps, but I have no idea how to do any of them.
-Delete Local Settings
-Safely Sync One Way
-Change Sync Job to Two Way (how to do this safely?)

Thanks in advance.

You could easily use robocopy and a series of if then else commands in a simple batch file to do this. I run my PApps from local HD and then when I am done, I run my robocopy to sync any changes back to my ipod to take it home and then run the synch from my ipod to my home machine and vice versa to keep all my installs the same.

Basically you would need choice.com and robocopy.exe to do my batch file idea. I then use if drive:\path\file exist (goto section) else (goto section) and have the other sections run my commands. Choice comes into play to allow you to choose which way to copy.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you do or say will be exaggerated or mis-quoted and used against you.

Toucan

Try Toucan which isn't officially released in the apps directory yet, but will be.
Save it as two jobs, one to the drive and the other from your drive.
