I wanna see the source. Is it included or on the page? Oh well. I'll find out soon enuff.

Aha, nice, a table of contents. And how do you anchor. I've never actually looked. And I didn't know of these forums would support it. But what's the code for anchoring?

Yay

I've done this by hand on a couple computers, and it's something of a pain to get completely right if you don't entirely know what you're doing. Thanks for making a tool to make this easy Smile

How about.

An "Un-Default My FFP" or do you already have this? If not, you'de just have to change a bit of the configuration to "Folder with firefox.exe". Right?

Well

You can reverse it by simply going into IE and setting it as default.

Huh?

I'm not actually moving it to this site, as it is officially unsupported, since a lot of systems work differently.
I may add a note to the Firefox Portable page, but it's for users that know what they are doing to some extent. It is not portable because render your copy un-portable since it writes to the registry.

What I meant is, that it's on the beta testing forums. Sorry, it was early morning here in the U.S. Wink

does not work on Vista 64bit...

It seems, that the class "htmlfile" isn't set. This seems to be neccessary for the branches open and opennew. In your script, there is not any setting for this branches, so any application still open IE instead of FFP.

I know.

I've never tested it on 64-bit machines and don't plan to. However, if it's a generic Vista issue, then I will change it.

DMFFP won´t work although reg entries made

Hi, I couldn´t get it to work. The path the DMFFP shows is correct, but then it says "You must enter a valid directory". I tried it 5 or 6 times, used the browse to button and copied the DMFFP into the Firefoxportable.exe folder. I cleaned the regristry after each try (with CCleaner). Nothing worked. The entries are made in the registry (because CCleaner shows them but marks them as not working).
What I don´t understand is that even if the FFP is open, it won´t accept any links. I thought it should do at least that. The OS is WinXP SP3. If you need more infos, just let me know.
Thx 4 F1.

Unsupported.

DMFFP is forever unsupported, unless another developer picks it up (I advise against it).

Can't be bothered

The trouble of maintaining it is greater than it's worth, and I don't use it myself, so I don't have any personal gain from it.

That said, the code is GPL'd, so anyone can take it and release it themselves.
