[Moved to U3 apps forum by moderator JTH. Thunderbird Portable is the open portable app that works on all drives.]
wanting to say "Search!"
Download Thunderbird Portable, and use SmithTech's Shortcut Creator for U3.

Go to http://software.u3.com/ProductCategoryList.aspx?CategoryId=15&Selection=... download Thunderbird. They have had an updated version for quite a while now. And it will update itself.

Jacobm001; that link points to 1.5.0.42, which the OP has already. Unless I'm mistaken, 1.5.0.42 will not update a major version to 2.0. The poster could probably install TBP in the PortableApps folder, transfer their settings from U3 1.5.0.42, and then uninstall 1.5.0.42. My two cents...
Regards,
USEFUL your information, working fine on my U3 device...
Another question, maybe you can help me....
The reason because I tried to update my TB, the TB doesn't load the images on the e-mail.
I try to do a lot of things, but no results.
When I use Outlook express, or eudora, etc. in this computer the images are displayed correctly, but in TB doesn't display.
If I use my U3 device in the home computer, I don't have any problem.
Thanks....
What is TB??

viniciomorar; under Options / Privacy / General there are check boxes for "Block loading of remote images in mail messages" & "Allow remote images if the sender is in my:" These settings may address your image problem, I'm not sure. That's the only thing I can think of to help.
