where do all of the app files go inside the drive? like 1.0 was (double click drive>portableapps> (insert)portable)
i want to know this because i am to lazy to download all of my apps and install them so i want to tranferrr all of my copied files into the new PAM.
also, when i clicked on the add and app and the "documents" icons, nothing happened.

i figured out the locations. the only thing now is that Pam wont load the icon files.

...the icons are corrupt. Did you make them? If so, what program?
Some programs "pretend" to make icon files but really don't. If that's the case open the original image file in GIMP Portable and "Save as..." .ico . Store these files in the icons/folder icons directories.

I reread your original post. I think I get what you mean. The app icons not showing could be due to:
1. Courpt program...
2. Corupt P.A.M. install...
or for another reason I haven't figured out yet.
First, Do the programs open? If not, re-download them and reinstall them.
Second, if that doesn't work reinstall PAM from a newly downloaded file.
Third, and last resort only, make your own icons and create launchers to use them (this one works almost all the time for me).
Do these thing and if it still doesn't work, well, reply back.

i didnt create them myself. i am using 1.0.3 which doesent have an installer yet, it is drag and drop, and the drive isnt a "portableapps drive" it is just a drive that you can activate PAM from. and i didnt install any of the apps, i copied the files from my PAM 1.0 into 1.0.3, but in 1.0 i draged and dropped ePSXe into the directory and the icon for the .exe showed up fine.
