I noticed that the OpenOfficePortable.exe launcher does not appear in PAM in the new version.
While some may like that, I prefer to just use that, and move all the individual mini-launchers to another folder (to keep them out of PAM).
I've always thought the mini-launchers were kind of redundant, and take up valuable real estate in PAM:
Since OOo is essentially a single app, I would rather just open the main app, and then choose "New..." whatever I want.
Is this by design or accident?
I guess I could just leave one of the mini-launchers (e.g. OpenOfficeWriterPortable.exe) and do the same thing...

That is by design. I created a Simple launcher in AutoIt that would run the oo launcher.

Just drop the executable into the OpenOfficePortable folder in addition to the official launcher.

I'll check it out, in anticipation of the official release of the new PAM, which I hope will allow better customization of which exe files appear in PAM.
Yeah, I know there are a lot of mods out there, and maybe one can do this, but frankly, there are too many, and I'd rather wait for JTH's official releases (and betas)
I've quite a few non-PAF apps (mostly from www.portablefreeware.com), and I've had fairly good success simply making a subdirectory of each app directory, and dropping unused exes into it. So far it hasn't broken anything
