Second launch

Hi,
the following problem:
I use Firefox at work (runs almost all the time).
And I want to use also Portable Firefox at the same time, but I get the message "another instance bla bla..".
I want to do this to keep my settings and bookmarks completetly separate, therefore the same browser should run twice.

Any ideas how to acomplish that?

Thanks for your help

INI

See the advanced options in the INI file for a way to do this. It's mentioned and linked to in the help.html file. Keep in mind that this isn't recommended or supported.

Thanks

found it.

BTW: Is there a reason why the .exe and .dll files are not UPX compressed? (best compression --best --lzma with UPX 3.00)
And why are the .jar fiels not recompressed with 7-zip?
This would reduce the size significantly.

AFAIK

it is due to the licensing deal with Mozilla. Also it breaks compatibility with the update feature.

It's illegal to alter the Firefox binaries in any way and redistribute with the trademarks included.

This has been discussed ad nauseum.
