Thunderbird portable junk controls , on of my favorite functions in this e-mail app, have stopped working. What to do? I have compacted the folders, checked in both options and accounts junk settings, even erased .msf files to no avail

On some slow computers, the junk function took a really long time, or would mark them junked but not do any of the settings(delete junk). I would restart the computer, which evidently reset computer and the junk function worked fast and regular.

Junk controls have worked for a long time on this computer that is really quite fast. Plays high level games with no problem. I did restart computer problem is still there
