Portable App Laucher Bulider

Hi,
You have the launcher, and so far it has been used in lots of open source apps, but is there a way to make it a bit more like JauntPE? I find that The portable Apps Launchers are easier to use and edit. But I have no idea how to even go about doing this. Is there some documentation or source code, or help on doing something like this. Because I think it would make a lot of users happy. Smile

Thanks...

You can download the source

You can download the source from any app on any app's download page, which includes the launcher source. Check here for documentation. The most popular ways here to make a launcher is NSIS and AutoIt. John uses NSIS.

Read The Developement Page.

From the development page;

That's it for now... just a quick overview of the process. The compression routines will be released soon as well as a universal launcher allowing you to make apps portable without coding. As always, if you have any questions, you can post a note on the forums.

I warn you, it will probably be quite a while before John releases something life this.

Thanks!

@ Have Some Patience,
heh... I should read. Blum OK... I didn't see that. I'm messing around with the NSIS stuff. So we shall see.

Thibieaz, please keep me informed!

I would love to test either the Beta from Thibieaz or the other one when its ready. Though I don't think that NSIS is that hard. Is there anything I need to make it portable other then changing the information in the script at the beginning?
