Firefox Addons Problems

I searched to see if anybody has had similar problems, and found this, but that problem was never really answered. I'm trying to install Firesomething, IE Tab, Menu Editor, Tab Killer, Splash!, and FoxFilter. I install them, restart FF portable, and all is fine. I then configure the options to what I want, and close FF portable. Upon starting FF portable again, all addons are gone. I am currently running Windows 2000 SP4. FF portable version is 2.0.0.6 and is running on the local hard drive.

Corruption

That's corruption in your profile. You'll need to take the usual steps. I've had it happen to my local copy a couple times.

Usually deleting extensions.rdf, etc... things like that... from your profile directory.

Ok

I'll give that a try.

[EDIT] That fixed it. Thanks for the quick reply.

[EDIT #2] Doesn't work again. Could FF itself be corrupting the file?

Not removing your drive

Not removing your drive safely can be the cause of corrupt extensions.rdf (or whatever), never forget of doing a Safe Portable App-ing

Logical Errors

Errors on the drive can cause this do. Do a "check drive for errors" (right-click on the drive, properties, tools)

Still there

Checked the drive, and no errors were found. So I tried going back to 2.0.0.5 and it all works just fine there. It also happened on my local FF install, so I'm thinking it's just a problem with regular FF. Thanks for the help.
