I Just Got A 1GB U3 Flash Drive And I Love It.
But There Is Still Some App's On The Site, That U3 Doesnt Have. I No Its Wierd Having Two Menus (One For U3 And One For PortableApps.com) But I Still Love PortableApps Better.
Is There Anyway, John, Or Someone, Can Create A U3 Version Of The PortableApps Menu?
I Understand That The Design (Where The Folders Are And All That) Has To Change A Bit.
Like
DRIVELETTER:\System(Where The U3 Apps Are Stored [HIDDEN FOLDER])\PortableAppsMenu\PortableAppsMenu.u3p
If U Have A U3 Drive Find A U3P File And Extract It Using 7-Zip.
(OMFG!!!! LOL U3P Files Are A LOT Of EXE Files In One File :o didnt no that)
Im Going To Try This Out Myself But I Need Help.
Using U3P File As A Example
I Have A Feeling That I Might Have To Give Up Themes. (I'm Ok With The Default)
I'm Srry If Making This U3 Compatable Is A BIG Pain. But It Would Be Really Helpful If You Could Make It Compatable. And It Would Be Really Helpful Over Hear.
Thanks Alot All Of U
Thanx For Understanding
But John's said U3 is a dead project after next year anyways, and he's dropped support for the U3 platform, and recently been spending a lot of time on PortableApps.com. Someone else might like the idea and create the diffent structure.

Okay, three things. You can get a (awesome) theme-able menu here. It's basically the PortableApps Menu with a few extra features. And you can get an autolauncher creator for U3 here that autoruns PAM or PStart (don't worry about that). Also, you can get a shortcut creator for U3 here that you can create shorcuts in the U3 menu that will launch your apps.
