Hello everybody.
I've got the problem that it seems not possible for me to start PortableFirefoxLive from a cd-r using autostart.
I'd like to have Firefox starting on putting the cd-r into a drive. So I got the edited firefox.ini to run Firefox from a cd-r, copied the whole stuff to the root of the cd-r and used the following string in the autostart.inf:
[autorun]
open=FirefoxPortable.exe
icon=sicon.ico
So, if I put the cd-r in any computer nothing happens, only the dataexplorer pops up and shows me the content of the cd-r ... that's it.
It seems that the loader does not start. If I start it by doubleclick everything is fine.
So what's the fault? Any hints for me?
Greetings and thanks...
well is autorun enabled?

ok but these lines don't differ much from the lines i posted above.
instead of your autorun.exe i tried to start the firefoxportable.exe.
i tried it over here and it works.
my pogo cd uses that and it starts automaticlly
without me touching the mouse and same with firefox portable on cd
try this
[autorun]
START=\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe
and save it as autorun.inf in the root of the cd
(when u click on the cd drive put the autorun file there)

oh, maybe you've found the fault because i didn't use a backslash in front of the directoryname... i have to try this ... feedback will follow soon
glad i could help

- U3 1GB Flash Drive
- 512 MB Lexar Jump Drive
Na na na, come on!
starting the brain before doing something is quite good ...
it was my exclusive fault ... i named the autostart-file 'autoSTART.inf' instead of 'autoRUN.inf' ... so now everthing is working fine.
thanks for your time!!
