Alright I used Toucan but when I closed out Toucan and tried to reopen it it says it is still open so for me the only way I could close it was with Windows Task Manager. I figure to let you know to fix the problem.

Did you try

waiting a little cause I think the program needs some time to fully close.

Have you,

tried leaving it for a short while? It saves its settings after close so if you have a slow drive it might take a while.

Programs Closing

I've noticed that, depending on the device, programs may take a certain amount of time to close. On my Corsair 2GB, it can take a few seconds. Testing on a generic named flash drive, it could take up to 15 seconds or more. On my Seagate external HD, it's about 3 seconds max. It all depends on the speed of the device being used.

Indeed,

it does, as it saves its settings on close, although on my drive (a very slow Kingston data traveller) it takes less than 2 seconds. However I think that you will find that it compares favourably to most of the other apps on this site.
