Where are some good icons?

I am in need of some icons for various file types like images, videos, folders, etc. Where would some good ones be? I need them for a program I am almost done with (file manager).

Tango - a free, quality source of standard icons

The Tango Icon Library is a great source of CC icons:
http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Icon_Gallery
They're CC attribution sharealike, so you just need to make sure you note where you got them from, and they're a fairly wide range of high-quality icons for all kinds of things.
Tango Desktop is a project to create a unified look across applications and such, and is used a lot in Open-source apps, I believe it is used for the default theme in Ubuntu Linux, for example, and is used by Pidgin and OpenOffice - it's quality stuff.

Compiling In

Just be careful of licensing when compiling the icon into an EXE. If you're licensing BSD (I think you said you preferred that), you can't compile in any freeware or Creative Commons licensed icons and have your resulting product be considered a BSDed EXE or DLL (since it includes non-free bits) and you can't include any GPLed icons unless you want the EXE covered under the GPL and not the BSD.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
