Xenon Portable [File Manager] (Testers Needed)

If this catches on I'll get an SF project. (Unless John wants this here. Wink ) This is my first release of Xenon and it Portable Package. I wrote Xenon in JavaScript (wxJS) with some AutoIt. I have a few ideas for improvements, feel free to suggest some more.

Todo:

Make the dosbox not appear.
Add copy/cut/paste to file functions.
Add tabs eventually.

I'm using XP SP2. I Tested it on Home, Pro, and a bare Home VM, with updates only. Each time was a new download. I can't post a screen shot now because I am at work and can't access mediafire or similar sites.

I just released an update. I don't know if it fixes it, but it might.

Edit: I get the error on my XP VM. I'll see what I can do.
Edit2: It's the VC++ runtime! I forgot about that.

Xenon error message

This is what I get when I run Xenon on my WinXp Pro SP2 machine.

Line 0 (File:\PortableApps\XenonPortable\XenonPortable.exe"):

Dim $process = Run""""& @ScritpDir & "\App\wxjs.exe" --module=""gui:io"" """& @ScriptDir & "\App\xenon\Xenon.js"")

Error: Unable to execute the external program.

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

Maybe Java is NOT installed on this machine?

Works great for me! Windows

Works great for me! Windows XP SP2 with most recent updates. The program itself needs a little work, though.

I know, it needs a lot of work. I am working on re-writing it entirely in autoit (the third re-write) so it will be more compatible.

If you mean more powerful then VC++ (or C++ for that matter),or Delphi then you are a complete fool :)(no offense meant to be directed Smile ) since you seem to know nothing about programming Smile
