This is a replica of the windows vista start menu. I've used xrxca great new PAM mod to integrate the eject function into PAM when this theme is used.
Both theme requires latest version of PAM mod by xrxca.
-Add your own image to the little square at the top by making it 64 x 64 and naming it header.bmp and placing it into the folder where background.jpg and background_top.bmp are.
-For the eject script i recompiled xrxca's eject script to add my own icon. All credits go to xrxca for the eject script.
-Vista style FolderIcons [Image]
(Find them in "X:\PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\Data\Theme\Vista\FolderIcons", then replace the default FolderIcons which are located in "X:\PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\App\DefaultData\FolderIcons" if you installed PAM using the offical installer.)

What folder do you extract this to, and do you need to do anything else? I am having a problem installing this and seeing the eject button. Sorry.
You see a folder named theme. Rename that whatever you want and then name the vista folder theme. Now restart Portable apps, and it should work. This is assuming that you're using the regular version of the menu.

you cannot use either if these theme with the original version of PAM. it won't display properly. you need the draggable PAM mod from xrxca. then just extract the content of the zip into the "X:\PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu\Data\Theme" folder. Then when you load up PAM u go to options>Theme> and choose the vista theme.

On second thought, being this for netdroid and xrxca's mods, you should put this in pat.exe format.

Here is a pat.exe for your theme. I suggest that you host it somewhere else because mine only stays there for 30 days. Without eject.

oh you use 7-Zip to make the .exe =/ alrites thanks alot i can't seem to download the one without eject, but dw i know how to make it to a pat.exe now thanx alot

If you get a white (or light) background and drag PAM away from the right side of the screen. The upper right hand corner has some black line.
I personally use PAM right above my "Start" button and use WINDOWS+SHIFT hotkey to open the menu and this little line is *so* annoying.
Please fix it, and great theme!
It's the shadow; I believe the maker of PAMmod is trying to change/fix that.

You should add the [MenuButtons] and [OpenMenuButtons] sections to the theme.ini because the r25 PAM mod has a bug where it keeps the settings from the previous theme if these attributes aren't in the theme.ini. Here are the following lines I added in the theme.ini above [sbtnBackup]:
Another suggestion is to upgrade the version of the Eject script to V4. I had to hack your eject script when you first released this theme to support Fixed drives.
I love this theme and it is my most frequently used. Great work!

hello, sorry for my bad english at first... i'd like to knok how i can create the subfolders for my programs as seen in the screenshot of this vista-theme (Games, Internet, Office, Utilities...) so that they are shown in the pam-window. thank you!!
The PAM Mod R30 from the Beta Testing forums.
i use the PAM Mod R30, but i don't find any funktion that the folders (games, internet...) i created appear in the left pam-window as i have seen at the screenshot. do i have to put them in a special folder ("data" or something else) so that they are shown automatically in the pam or must i link them in a certain way or what?? please explain detailled, thank you very much!

One question- any hopes of making it 1) either interface directly with the Vista UI so it takes on the appearance of the Vista UI (I have Aero enabled, with full 'glass' look to all windows, even when maximized, and I want that same glass look for PAMr30/Vista v2 theme...) or else 2) enabling transparency to 'mimic' Vista's Aero glass look?
