I'm fairly new to this - Is there a program for portable apps like the U3 password? i.e. When I insert my usb with portable apps menu installed , Is there a way to password protect access to the drive ordo I have to try and protect each application?

A lot of flash-drives have this function built-in to the controller
but often the required software is missing.
Have a look at the drive-manufacturers website, maybe it's available there .
If not,you could try "LockItEasy" from "cososys".
It's free (not open-source) and works with many drives but does
require admin-privileges.
