So i try to go to the c:\documents and settings\[user name]\application data\folder at school. however i cant access the application data folder at school. i am positive that there is a folder called mozilla that i have no way to delete. because of that folder i cancels out my settings in Portable Firefox. It tries to write to to the folder that doesn't exist.the error console says
var itemLocation = s.e.location.getItemLocation(e.id)has no properties. if there is a batch file, patch or something like that, i need to know asap.:(

You're probably just blocked by your school. It doesn't matter if there's already data in the APPDATA\Mozilla Firefox folder or not. FFP still works.
However, if they've configured it so that somehow no apps can write to the APPDATA folder, that may prevent Firefox from running since it needs to create a plugins registry in APPDATA while it's running. There's way around this... no workaround, no nuthin. And this would be your school purposely doing this to prevent you from runnings software.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
why would FFP need write to create a plugins registry? my other browsers such as opera or pocketflock work fine. are you sure that FFP can,t be packaged with a registry entry that you can manually put in the registry(i can access that).maybe you or someone should start supporting the pocketflock project. http://www.outraged-artists.com/flock/
He didnt say anything about accessing the registry. He said it creates a registry or list of plugins in APPDATA.
