Is it possible to copy files/folders to the recycled bin, without moving them there?
I'm wondering if this could be done in some kind of batch file, or nircmd assisted launch.
What I'll probably end up doing is having it copy from my usb to a temp directory on the hard drive, launch from there, then copy back after everything's closed, then run a secure deletion from the usb drive to delete my temporary directory and it's contents.
I was just wondering if it was possible to use the c:\recycled which appears to be on almost every windows pc, as the temp directory.
What are you trying to accomplish? Copy files to a directory that's common on multiple computers? If so, try using %TEMP%
If you state your goal, we can help you get there better.
Also, your directory name is wrong...the correct one is C:\RECYCLER for the recycle bin.

It looks like he wants to make some kind of launcher that extracts temporary files to the UFD then deletes them securely afterwards, but moving the files to the recycle bin wouldn't be secure.
I could be wrong, but, I'm finding it hard understanding what he wants as well
