Shortcuts for 3rd party apps

Hi guys,

Just started to use PortableApps and it's great. Just one thing. How can I create shortcuts in the menu for apps not provided by you? I'm using Total Commander, Skype, RoboForm and a few other apps from my usb stick and it'll be great to add their shortcuts in the menu too.

Thanx,
dEM

Look there before asking here.

Yes, I read that...

But when I have more than one executable in the application's directory all of them are listed in the menu, which is far from convenient. Anyways I found a solution - create a batch file for starting an app anywhere in the tree and then convert the batch to exe and place it in a directory "next to" the PortableAppsMenu directory. But still it'd be much easier if there was an option to create a shortcut and can't figure out why there's not.

Not yet

In the normal PAM version, but search for the MODs...

You can also make launchers for your Apps, or ask if somebody already did it (why reinventing the wheel?)

BTW, congratulations, it looks like you're the first to search before posting... Blum

Well, the second, I also search before... lol

and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin
