I find that winMD5Sum seems to randomly close or disappear... is this normal? I figure that its still giving me correct numbers and stuff... is it? Is it fine or what should i do?

try re downloading it if that doesn't work then fire up task manager and look for any strange process if thats not possible then get a good anti virus program running xD

Thanks for the reply. No it only happens with Win MD5Sum. I've redownloaded and installed it and will see what happens. Thanks - Jason
winMd5Sum is unmodified and is just packaged for convenient installation. If there are any issues with it, you'd have to take it up with the main author.
