On one of my PCs, when I launch the Portable Apps Menu I get the system tray icon, but can never find the menu on the desktop. On a different PC it is viewable and useable. The trouble PC does have dual screens running nView.
Any clues?
Thanks.

a software issue, because the hardware (probably a 2ualhead) is not installed by software into the computer(as far as i know) so it should display all graphics that would be sent to one monitor normaly. if you have one of the beta menus, you might have one code in there that might be screwing it up but that is probably not it. (if you want to check it out, there is a thred somewhere that talks about it) otherwise it probably is a software compatability issue. try hooking up a single monitor, if the menu still dont show up, its your graphics software.(posibly directx9/10)

Thanks.
I will dig futher. So far I love PortableApps over U3. If I can figure out how to get it to run on this trouble machine I can then switch over my U3 drive.
Again, thanks for the help.
What Operating System is it running? Do you have Admin Privligaes?
