As Steve Lamerton is working on a new project, I have taken over the development for MiniUp. Steve will still be an Admin on the project, as it was his idea. So on with the new additions.
I have updated MiniUP to Version 1.0. The new additions and changes are:
- Added GUI
- Added Configuration Page
- Added Settings file to save previous backup settings
- Added time labels to archive files for eay recognition of newest file also allows for protection against overwrtiting
- Program now uses zip compression with the &-Zip program instaed of .7z compression due to possible corruption of file over 400MB
Also if there is intrest, I will add support for other compression types.

Thanks to Steve for pointing out the showing of the progress of the archive operation. Removed this, and the program in now fully silent except for the progress messages onthe details page.
