Hello everybody, I've just found this forum, I'm new.
I would like to create a portable version of photoshop, because I don't want to install the program on my working place PC.
I'm interested in the whole version, not a reduction (I don't mind if it takes 500 mbytes), the most important thing is that I don't want to install it on there.
I've installed cs3 on another PC, and .... then? What should I do?
Do I need another software to detect which register have been changed?

Do a search for "photoshop" using the search link above and you'll see this isn't going to happen.

I did a search, but I couldn't find the right way to have a portable version.
I can find a lot of releases of cs3 portable in many languiages, but not in Italian. I tryed also to use thinstall, but it didn't work to me. This is the reason I post a message here.

BuddaChu already said it can't happen I think it is embedded to far into the system and making a launcher for anything made by adobe would be illegal.

Well, I did come across a launcher for some version of Photoshop one user coded up. Not sure if it's legal; or not to link right to it, but I'll give you a clue and you can do the searching. Search for posts by the user "SmithTech".

I'm coming close to completing a fully-functional launcher for Photoshop CS3, but as stated above, doing most anything to manipulate Adobe products is illegal.

You can make the launcher for it without the actual program. However, you can't use Photoshop, PS or anything like it in the name.

ZOMFG! Adobe's EULA is sooo restrictive. There like the Micro$oft of Multimedia. U can't even use Photoshop in the name of a launcher, WTF that is absurd!

As all of ya should know Micro$oft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or FreeBSD on yer Windows comp.
Does anyone have a copy of Deuce's launcher for Photoshop 7.0 that they can lend me?
(I had bought that version from a friend, in hopes that I could get it working on my flash drive.)

i've checked out the portable version of macromedia dreamweaver, adobe photoshop, and so on, and is an only EXE file that extract the files in the temp folder, and i checked the size of the folder... the size: 120 MB aprox.
so i think is better don't make any launcher similar to firefox launcher.
A time ago I found thinstalled version on Photoshop CS3... its 60mb aprox... and dont need extraction... it carry the settings on it own "sandbox" folder, and do not make any changes on the system... but take a long time to load... and cause thinstall redirect all changes in the system, it redirect temp folder too =[ reducing lifetime of pendrive...
