PA menu messes up relative paths

I don't know if it happens with all apps that can accept relative paths (and don't have launchers), but with Console (2.00.132; haven't tried with 1.42.x or 1.5.x), the setting for shell and initial directory can accept relative paths, however the path is relative to the drive letter instead of the app when launched with the PA menu. When the app is launched normally, the relative paths work fine. I found a workaround, but a less technically-inclined person would be extremely confused. I also found a bug in Console that is unrelated while on this little adventure (it gives the wrong error when it can't find the shell).

Well, what is Console? Do you mean Command Prompt Portable, because the newest version for that is 1.0.
Also, are you using the PortableApps.com Platform Beta on the forums?

You should know better

Cmon Bahamut, you've been here long enough to know better than to give 1/2 a bug report. What the heck is console?

Also, it sounds like the working directory bug, so be sure you're using the latest 1.1 Beta.

Nope

It's Win2K+ only. Most people don't need the extra features. And it's slower than using a regular command prompt (try dragging the window around).

We may add it in as another app, though.

True Indeed

I can do it up in the PAF, and post it in beta. Maybe for a splash just the Command Prompt one with the name and site changed to Console, and then just add it in as an extra download on the Command Prompt Page?

Please do.

I'll try that and let you know. After reading the post with the beta, it looks like that's the bug.
