Uh you forgot to paf it

...

Also it was not useful as it was under Linux. I can't recieve any e-mail due to a session timeout. Nor can I send any e-mail since it can't queue it.

it is not fully pafed if it is not a .paf.exe

You could just add .paf before the .exe

that's great!

thanks for what you are doing.
I love that app and it'll be nice to have it as portable app.
As I trigger getmail button, it crashes, though.
Could you check it out?
I got some error with line 3874 (...folder....)
I'm not as technical, so please tell me what information do you need.

error in claws-mail itself

The error must be in Claws-mail, because it started normally and crashed as you trigger "get mail".

Claws-Mail make portable

If you want palliative solution, get http://ftp.gpg4win.org/gpg4win-light-2.0.1.exe , which includes Claws Mail for windows. After install in program dir create bat-file with next code:

set HOMEDRIVE=
set HOMEPATH=%CD%\mailstore
set USERPROFILE=%CD%\mailstore

start %CD%\claws-mail.exe

And so create dir "mailstore" or as you wish, but needed to change its name in bat.
This bat will launch claws-mail as portable, all mailboxes will be stored in "mailstore".
Some trouble - Claws Mail too many uses drive, and it is not good for flash. May be because I have IMAP-mailbox.
Hope, this help someone.

Encryption?

I was disappointed to see that enigmail for thunderbird was only developmental. Does pClaws have encryption capabilities (preferably OpenPGP, optionally s/mime)?

Thanks,

Lance

Claws has GPG/PGP features as

Claws has GPG/PGP features as one of the standard plugins.

I would love to be able to use this and contribute to the testing, but the only Windows machine I use is my work machine - which is limited to port80 access...

It has been translated into quite a few languages. Tried to work on it myself, but don't have the time to keep it updated.
