Asking for a bit more advice...

Again, not portable app related, and I usually don't do forums, but I like this one.

Anyone know of a good windows xp skinning site? I'm tired of all my skins and am looking for some new ones. Not StyleXP cuz thats for wimps. Wink

I'm looking for a site with the actual .msstyles files.

Oh, and John, a humble suggestion. How about a forum section for general stuff like this and my post about a CMS? I think it might help keep the clutter down. And if not and you want me to stop asking questions here, just tell me. No offence will be taken, I assure you.

Libertà is going to replace

Libertà is going to replace it (see portasoft.org for details) -- basically opensource u3/ceedo. It needs quite a bit of work, so C/++ programmers would be greatly appreciated.

That's not what he wanted, though. He needs msstyles themes, like those found here.

yeah, but....

Thanks, but I'm looking for something for my main box at home.

Not portable.

I patched my UXTheme file and use *.msstyles files in my windows\resources\ directory.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows a good site for msstyles files.

I appreciate that tho.

EDIT: sorry nm, just reread your post. I'll check out that site. Got ahead of myself.

no problem. I personally

no problem.

I personally love Royale (don't have the URI handy). It's the WinXP MCE skin, and it looks much better than borin' old blue...
