Mahjongg solitaire

I'm looking for a solitaire mahjongg that could be put in portable format. On linux I play KMahjongg, a one-player matching sort of game. You match tiles and they disappear, revealing the tiles underneath. http://home.halden.net/vkp/vkp/windows.html has a list of many mahjongg games, free, OSS, abandonware, shareware, etc. Shanghai-Fû 3D 1.22 looks to be a good candidate since it is small at 339kb, and looks good, but it is freeware, not necessarily open source.

There is a certain version of PySol, 4.20, listed there that includes Mahjongg, but the latest version removed or failed to include Mahjongg.

If you had searched, you'd have found my Mahjong Portable.

I Searched

But Ryan,

If he HAD searched he would have found that it has been stuck in pre-release 4 stage since Mid July and seemed, well, ummm, buggy at that point Blum

Any change in the situation?
I would like to try it if the problems mentioned have been resolved.

I know. I'm dropping support and development for it until I can find a good Mahjong client.

I'll still be leaving it up on my site, it just won't be updated or supported.

Ok, you'll kill me for this Ryan but... I don't like your mahjongg game... it looks more like Dominoes... I prefer the solitaire version of mahjongg...

Here http://freehry.doupe.cz/recenze/mahjongg-cinsky-solitaire/ (or http://www.totalshareware.com/ASP/detail_view.asp?application=4588) is a portable version of a good one... just unzip it on your PDrive... BTW, the main Webpage is in Russian...

Oh! and here http://www.reto-schoelly.de/mahjongg3d/index.html is a 3D one (and the best in my very personal opinion)... it needs OpenGL... just extract using universal extractor and copy it to your PDrive... This web is in German and English.

I don't know anything about registry entries on these two games, but I never had any problem with them.

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin
