PAM disappearing in UBCD4Win

Greetings!

I believe that PortableApps and UBCD4Win are two of the most phenomenal projects extant. Their combined powers are nearly beyond those of mortal men!

I do, however, have an issue with the PortableApps Menu running on UBCD4Win on USB. When I start PAM the menu appears as it should. When I open or close a window in Geoshell and then try to invoke PAM again it flashes for a fraction of a second and then vanishes. Even if I kill the task and restart it, the behaviour does not change.

Can anybody please tell me how to fix the problem?

ADthanksVANCE!

P.S. I have posted this query on the UBCD4Win forums also.

Unsupported

Like most of the CD-based Windows setups, UB4CD breaks quite a bit of stuff and causes apps that use standard Windows functionality not to work right. We won't be putting any development or testing into these setups since we don't have the resources.

UB4CD is meant for system recovery of non-bootable Windows PCs and is best used as such. The tools that you need for this process are included, although doing so is legally questionable without permission (another reason we won't officially support UB4CD et al).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I Understand

John:

Thanks for such a quick reply! I completely understand your reasoning for not supporting the UBCDs. Not a problem.

And again, thanks for such an amazing product!
