Is there a portable app like this?

Hi

I am looking for a portable app that basically does the same sort of things as this program does. they have a portable app for it but they want money for it and I rather just try to get something free that is almost the same as the app.

They have a free lite version so maybe that could be made into a portable app since it is free.

you could search for JauntPE or jauntpe on these forums and use it to portablize Studyminder.

It's JauntePE, not JauntPE.

It's JauntePE, not JauntPE. I believe Ryan already corrected you one that .

Yeah but

if it is called JauntePE then why does it show up in PAM as JauntPE?

Sunbird can do things simmilar to this...

and it could most likely be modded to work like the studyminder program.

You could try using a

You could try using a portable project manager for this. Try the beta forum and/or use the search link.

A project = a class
A task within the project = a paper/homework
Subtasks with milestones = things like "Do draft", "Submit paper for grading", etc

Not sure if a milestone will prompt you to get them done like a calendar would.

Can I have some links

Hi

I am finding it hard to find these program you people talk off.

I have tried to use package factory to make it into a u3 app(since I own a u3 usbkey) and it packaged good and crap the thing is it writes still files to windows that are used to save the information. Like if I make a new task on my personal computer and then unplug my keep and come back it will be saved. I take it too school and load up the program everything will be gone.

I know it is probably not open sourced but I was hoping that someone would know how to take it anyways and make it into a proper portable app and since it was the free version not a paid version then something could be made(people have been able to make photoshop portable) or someone knew a true free application that was like this.

Sunbird seems alright but I still rather have something like that since you can see a list of everything due and then keep track of how long you estimated the assignment take vs how long it actually took.

If I can't find something even more similar or know one can get a portable version working of this then I will try Sunbird out since I probably can live without some of those features in that program but it would be nice to have but not worth the $30.
