Hey I checked the forums for a solution but couldn't find anything. I was wondering if there was a way that all of the programs running off of the jump drive would close, once I pull the drive out of the computer? I'm asking because I'm using the apps at work, and I want a quick fail safe that I can pull to protect myself.
When some of the programs close they need to write their settings to the data or settings folder and then completely close up. You could not have the app do that if the only indicator was a missing drive could you? Kinda like trying to drive a car after you have jumped out of the seat.

Is there any way to hide a program with a hotkey in windows?
I'd suggest using a virtual desktop like VirtuaWin. Someone was working on a PAF of it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
However, most of the modules store their settings in the registry, so I kinda shunned away. I'll look back into it though.

Wow, I just noticed I still had a signature, that's enough of that.
Try BossKey. I use it (not portably) and I think it should be portable.

Portable Freeware it is portable. Not OS though.

NEVER pull a flash drive out of a computer with out first "safely removing" or "safely ejecting"!!!! Whether you have apps running or not this is a good way to fry your drive, but especially if the drive has apps running.
