In the interests of faster operations and maybe being able to not disable features that would otherwise shorten USB life, I thought it might be worthwhile to copy the whole software temporarily to the HD of a visited computer. Could be easily done with a batch file, copying to the "my documents\music" folder, for example, which most Windows setups have. When done, one could copy everything back again in order to save changes from the session.
Is there any problem or downside in doing this?
Thanks
It would take for-ev-er!!
Plus if an error occurred all that data might get left behind. Can't rely on the user remembering to check (or even knowing how to).
