Hey, anyone else heard of Songbird?

Its Moxillas media player but in about a year it hasn't been developed very much. It has plugins for the iPod and stuff too.

They had a recent release. I think development's kinda slow, but that's fine. Probably because they spend all their time making bird logos for anything they desire.
It would be a good choice once it's stable.

Thats for sure, Your best bet is to try and recompile and redesign the skin without the Songbird logo/name as they are TM by POTI

It's not by Mozilla, they just use the Mozilla/XULRunner framework.

But like I said You would need to still remove the Songbird logo and change the skin as Stated by there Request in their License, It's like John and PortableApps.com, It's trademarked hence you can't use it

I have permission from the Songbird guys to do a portable version from PortableApps.com with the trademarks intact because of my work on Firefox with Mozilla's trademarks.

ME TOO!!! especially since v0.3 just came out -- once the add-ons are all updated, and if someone adds better podcast functionality, it'll make my at-work audio experience so much better.
It'd be sweet if this came out the same time as the next release of the PA suite!
