Firstly, what relevance is this? I'm tempted to dump this in off-topic. Secondly, you should be able to figure it out. Thirdly, the Recent Posts tracker is how we seasoned readers read the forums. Much easier
"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate."
1 i started using the tracker already
2 it is relevant as there is no point in having these pointless icons if they dont mean something to somebody. since theyre in front of everybody why not make it clear to everybody what they are.
3 tell me what forum it is most suited to and i will post there instead if u want
4 how am i supposed to figure out what forum-hot.png is without looing at its filename and also forum-sticky.png
5 i have now figured them out but only by looking at the filenames. they should be clearer as said in some number above
1. With tack STUCK in it = stickied
2. Standard envelope = standard topic
3. Overflowing envelope = popular topic
4. Yellow overlay = unread messages
These icons make it easier for the moderators and users in general to see which topics are most popular, making it possible for them to adjust their focus accordingly. Also, the yellow overlay makes it easier to see messages that you have not yet viewed, and if the topic suits your interest, then you go ahead and read it. The stickied icon makes it easier for the users to see the topics that have been added by the moderators and stickied to the top, which means they must be important. ie Forum Guidelines

Ryan did you have a bad day? I never really paid attention to the icons, but I couldn't have answered that question. In fact, I could have asked it.
Have an Awesome Day!
me too.
I only use the tracker but sometimes I stumbled in there and and asked myself the same question...

It's just that they are really easy to figure out. I mean, it's got a pin in it. What else could it be except pinned?
"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate."
I don't see any post icons...
