How I can change the program names...
Welcome to the PortableApps forums. We hope you enjoy your stay
Please search before posting, as this question has been asked before. The short answer is that you can't at the moment, but you will be able to in a future version. There are ways to change it, but none are officially recommended.
You can in the PAM Mod, or in the original PAM with ResHack (Google it), change the app description, which will change what appears in the menu.
You can also change the program names in PStart.
If you read his post, he wants it for the PAM, not an app that will replace the PAM. The PAM Mod is essentially the PAM, just with extra features. PStart is a completely different app.
Hello oldboy,
I have the same prob.
try ASuite from http://www.salvadorsoftware.com/
or search the forums for it...
it works ok. if you fiddle with it you may customize it a lot.

p.s.: I try to use the code Tag for the link, but nothing
Code is for actual code, like $p = $x++;
. Links are either <a href="http://example.com/">Link text</a> or just the URL.
Thank you! I see the code tag on some sites working in this way
here the link
leave links just the way they are and they get "translated" into clickable links.
Thank you Simeon!
It work
Just go where you installed your app and change the *.exe file's name because PAM only searches for executable files in the installation path and lists them.
