I would like to download some themes for my Portable Apps. Thunderbird, but I have version 1.5.0.13. The two themes I wanted only work for 2.0 and 2.0.0. I was wondering whether if I downloaded the newest 2.0.0.6 version from here, would it support those two themes?
If not; could I download the normal Thunderbird 2.0 version in place of the Portable Apps. version? If I replaced the Portable Apps. version with the normal version, would I still keep all of my emails?
Help would be highly appreciated.

The old 1.5 branch isn't being updated anymore so I suggest you update your copy of Thunderbird to the latest one.
With PortableApps thats very easy: just "install" the new copy over the old one and all your settings will be preserved.

If the themes say they work with 2.0, they will work with any 2.0.0.*
As for updating, just download the newest Thunderbird Portable from this site. It will overwrite the old PA.com version, but will leave your profile untouched, so your emails will be safe.
Back everything up just in case, but it most likely will work without issue.
