is there an app or method for associating multiple apps at once? almost all of my apps are some form of portable so when i reinstall windows or return to a previous image of it, i have to re associate alot of things and can't seem to find a way to do this easily. hopefully someone knows a way other than exporting a reg file from hkey-classes-root for each app. thanks

if you need to see how one app uses another app you will to check that individual app.
If you want to assoc. a file with a program, try Xenon File Manager Portable

i've played around with that a little, but i don't see how it would allow me to backup the settings for file associations on 1 pc and transfer them to another, or a reinstall of the same. maybe i'm not looking in the right place? thanks
